Procedures |
Emergency Procedures:
- If you are in an accident or having car problems or maintenance problems:
- Call the driving school to report your problem,
If no one is available at the driving school office ( after office hours ):
- Leave a message and make necessary arrangements.
- Make arrangements for the vehicle to be repaired or towed ( See Repair & Towing
Phone Numbers )
- Vehicle information and insurance cards are in the glove compartment
- If there is any damage to the vehicle, call the police immediately.
- This includes dents, scratches, fender benders
- A police report must be on file in order to submit a claim to the insurance company.
- Make sure that you write down ALL of the insurance information and license
information from the other person in the other vehicle if you are involved in an accident.
- If there are any injuries to the instructor, student (s ), passengers or to any
passengers in another vehicle, call the police immediately.
- If there are any injuries, ask the police to contact our office immediately and also the
families of everyone in the vehicle.
- If there are no injuries, make arrangements for the student to return to class or home,
safely
- Have the student call his / her parents to explain the situation
- Offer options to the parents & let them know that their child is safe
Once the vehicle is towed or arrangements have been made,
- Call the office if you need an additional vehicle or if you need to be picked up.
- If no one is available, you can contact transportation services..
Fees can be billed to the driving school.
Note: Make sure that the office and your family are aware of your driving schedule at
all times.
Always make sure that your schedule information is current and make sure that someone
is available to help out in case of emergency situations.
