Northwest Suburban Driving School
To All Classroom Instructors:
Here is a shortened list of policies that have been in effect at our driving school
since it opened, but I wanted to remind all of the instructors due to recent complaints
from other tenants:
- Students should be encouraged not to smoke on driving school premises inside or out
because it is illegal.
- Friends or relatives of students are not allowed to sit in or enter classroom. If they
are being picked up by friends the friends must wait outside. Only parents may enter the
classroom to pick up their children.
- Students are not allowed to loiter in front of other tenants spaces before class, after
class or during break.
- Instructors must wait until all students have been picked up before they leave.
- Please try to keep noise in the classroom to a minimum especially with videos, etc. so
as not to disturb other tenants.
- We have no tolerance for misconduct of students that occurs in or around the driving
school premises. Such students will be expelled from our course. You reserve the right to
make that decision and/or discuss that decision with the owners because you are the only
viewer of the misconduct.
- Please make sure that the students do not litter inside or outside of the driving school
premises because you are responsible for cleaning it up before you leave if it occurs.
This includes litter, rearranged furniture that needs to be put back, etc.
- Instructors must show up 15 minutes before the start of class to let students into the
classroom. Also, classes end at the stated time on the schedule. Do not let the classes
out early. There are plenty of additional activities to work on to keep your class there
the full 2 hours.
These are already covered in the school rules/misconduct sheets we pass out to the
students the first day of class, but again I just wanted to highlight a few based on
complaints we have had from other tenants.
Following these guidelines will provide a safer environment for everyone involved. With
our busy season coming up, it is important to make sure we follow policies and stay on
task.
Thanks for all of your help! Kathleen
