A Fun Summer Ahead

I wanted to thank everyone for the great job, so far, this year !!  The big summer schedule is ahead and we are really looking forward to the large groups of students!   Many students have signed up months ahead of time in order to get into our summer program.  In most cases, the students have waited 15 or 16 years to take driver’s education; so the students are really eager to get started & they are really looking forward to taking the program.  Have fun with the students and take your time this summer.

We feel that everything is in place and in order to provide a very educational and enjoyable experience for these students in our summer course sessions.  The new Lesson Plan Binders should be easy to follow.  BTW Binders are well organized & outlined.  The database is available to help everyone find exactly what they need.  Supplies and materials have been ordered & dropped off to all of the classrooms.  The driver’s education cars are in good running condition for everyone, too!   All of these components were coordinated to help make our program run very smoothly, this summer.   They are also necessary to help the instructors feel more prepared and organized!

Be prepared and show up early for your class sessions and driving lessons.   Don’t overwork yourself and don’t overbook your schedule.  There will be plenty of opportunities to take out students, so don’t over exert yourself.   Communicate with the students and office if you have any questions or need additional information.   If you need any additional supplies, accessories or materials let me know and I will get them to you right away!   We want you to have an enjoyable and safe summer as well as the students ! !

Once again, remember the main ingredients of a successful summer:  Take your time, Be Prepared, Stay Positive, Be Patient & Have Fun !

Stay Cool !

If your car is having problems with the air conditioning, please take it in before the hot summer approaches. We want your car in good running condition !!  We also want you and your students to be as cool as possible. So stay cool !!

Don’t lose your cool !!   The hot summer heat can cause people to become irritable and grumpy. A positive and polite approach will help you and your students enjoy a more pleasant summer.

Simple Tips:

Stop for lots of Refreshments.                                          Use kind words.

Repeat the important instructions.                                      Be considerate.

Give plenty of compliments.                                              Stay patient.
