Going forward, I am going to make a great effort to keep you up to date on certain issues occurring within our organization. Please feel free to give me any input that you would like presented to the other employees as well.

We would like to thank all of you for all the hard work in 2002. As has been the case every year we have been in business, the number of students increased in 2002. Thanks to all of you we were able to handle the increased load. We hope for an even bigger year in 2003!

Report Card and Forms

Just a quick reminder to classroom instructors especially. Each student needs to turn in one of the following: either two consecutive semester report cards or yellow, pink, or blue form or GED letter.

For the report cards, we must have two consecutive semesters that show at least 8 passing grades total. We could also accept a transcript that shows two semesters. We do not accept quarter or progress reports. Most Junior High report cards are quarters and are not acceptable because of this reason.

Yellow forms are for home schooled students; pink forms are for students not passing 8 classes; blue forms are for freshman (because they haven’t yet completed two full semesters), students who don’t have their report cards available or for students at a school that is not on a semester grading system. These forms all must be filled out entirely and have all appropriate signatures. Blue and pink forms must have the "yes" box checked.

Students in a GED program either need to give us a letter from their instructor proving enrollment or a copy of their GED certificate.

If a student turns in a form that isn’t filled out accurately or completely or if they turn in quarter report cards please return immediately to the student and explain what they do need to turn in.

Also, class instructors should periodically remind students throughout the classroom portion of the course if they haven’t turned in one of the above items.

New Pricing

As most of you already know, for classes beginning after February 1^st there is going to be a price increase for our full teen program. The new price is $425 and the weekly payment amount is $85/week. I will be putting updated pricing sheets in everyone’s mailboxes.
